Shipwright’s Regret Trifecta

by @sacr3dbac0n/The Frying Pan
General Checklist
Strats adjusted according to the typical setups we use everywhere. See dd, tank, healer for details.
Preliminary
Do optionals #1 and #2 and all checklists as indicated
Lost Maiden (Optional #1)

Attempt burn, DD and healer drops ults
Foreman Bradiggan
Checklist
- Assign partners for 60%-30% Soul Bombs
- Razor Caltrops for ghosts
- Pull for Flame Shapers
- Assign positions (arc around Abom slam). Tank goes left, healer middle, DDs, between.
100% – 60%: Push the boss, but mechs are crucial here. Avoid pushing to 60% or 30% before wraiths die. The wraiths apply massive mitigation and damage debuff, which makes Abom phase much harder – it risks deaths.

Always roll forward into the Fear, avoid lateral or backwards to prevent ricochet.
Abom Phase:
- Form an arc along the growing Abom slam. Tank is on the left and healer in middle with the DDs between.
- Self-heal as needed.
60% – 30%:
1x Soul Bomb comes now, targeting one player. Stack inside if your partner gets it. Remember, only two per Soul Bomb.
Abom Phase:
- Same as before
30% – 0%:
Now two Soul Bombs. With enough DPS, you can skip it, but if it happens, throw the partners convention out the window. Use this algorithm to figure out how to stack:
1.) Assigned Soul Bombs unstack, then stay.
2.) Unassigned partners go to closest bomb.
a.) Ignore convention, just quickly pick the closest.
b.) Ignore Crutch Alerts.
3.) If Unassigned partners arrive at the same bomb, the one that got there last needs to go opposite.
a.) If needed, call out staying or going.
Don’t even bother calling out what you’re doing unless absolutely needed. Make a decision quickly to allow time to re-adjust for error.
Block to mitigate incoming Flame Shapers, but it doesn’t affect Soul Bomb damage.
Again, the Wraith debuff is brutal, so make sure to either cleave them down or execute quickly.
Shrouded Axeman (Optional #2)

- Avoid AoE and explosions.
- Interrupt as needed.
- Supports save ults for Nazaray
Nazaray
Checklist:
In case of Untamed Kindred (Doggos):
- Ensure tank has Elemental Susceptibility.
- Use/assign the same Soul Bomb stacks for entrance/exit.
Post-subclassing, we bank on killing Nazaray instead of doing Untamed Kindred. Generally speaking, < 1.5 mil is go for execute, otherwise do the mechanic immediately.

It’s not that hard to do, and there’s margin for error. That said, ults must be dropped on pull and go crazy. When Nazaray forces kite/tank walk, move her in a circle with a diameter approximately the radius of the room.
Walking Nazaray:
- While blocking, walk fast enough to bait her out of the invuln AoEs
- Don’t go far otherwise she’ll Pokeball you – it hits like a truck.
- Sometimes the Lurcher will block line of sight (LoS). Angle her around this to move her faster.
Group must avoid/mitigate the exploding AoEs, especially if she’s enraged/invuln. Also, stay away or cleave the Stranglussy.
However, if Untamed Kindred:
- Almost all HoTs need to go exit w/ tank.
- Ele Sus the doggos, otherwise it’s a wipe.
But overall, drop all ults and just a huge DPS race.
Captain Numirril

Checklist:
- Race Against Time is good on tank here.
- DDs bring Resolving Vigor.
- Assign Spout quadrants, healer is banner, both DDs entrance left, and tank is lighthouse/exit right.
Two main parts here: Lighthouse and Spout, but first, we need a few rules.
- Don’t kill Husks and absolutely not interrupt – they respawn spitting and spawn waves otherwise. The Husks must be channeling to minimize outgoing damage.
- Waves constrain movement, but clears Bile Pools from channel.
- Although it’s not worth it because the spits deal over 3x more damage than standing in the Pool.
- It’s ok to LA for ult while waiting, but do nothing else.
- Stick to quadrants during Spout.
With our ground rules, this fight is no different than stack and burn (aside from occasional Spout).
Put simply, stack on Abom’s ass – he won’t charge unless someone is too far. If spout, leave lighthouse, go and kite quadrants.
Although let’s be more explicit. Here’s the encounter flow:
> Push to 85% – boss leaves
> Stack lighthouse – waiting for Abom spawn, step to the side or block if cone.
> Abom spawn – he does a small slam followed by big slam, step back a little.
> Abom dead, boss comes back – always roll when Numirril comes in, fail and you die.
> Big burn to 85% to 40% – good time for ults, but more crucial for immediate 40% Abom. Stay lighthouse unless spout.
> Abom spawn – you have 15 sec to burn him down, then Numirril comes in.
> Wombo-combo – double dodge on tank (big slam followed by Numirril in).
> Leave on Abom death – must be immediate (prep for Surprise Spout).
> Sudden “Surprise Spout” – No telegraph/port – Numirril stays lighthouse with no indication.
> Return, execute – this is when we win.Remember, Spout occurs regularly when < 85% and Numirril is in. The indication is on-screen and telegraphed by teleport. Here’s some pro tips:
- After Spout/kite, wait for boss to return lighthouse before going in. That way, you don’t have to dodge.
- Above all else, dodge when Numirril lands from teleport
- Stay in range of Abom! Again, he only charges if someone is too far.
- Don’t kill or interrupt husks (important!).
- Tank should avoid standing in Bile Pools to conserve resources; it’s constant drain.
